Prayer Requests

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

It's a comfort to know that we matter to God and to others. God loves us so much that He is always waiting to hear our prayers and He will answer them. He may not always answer our prayer right away or in the way we expect Him to, but He will give us hope, peace, and the strength that we need to carry on and to move forward in the right direction. If you're in need of some encouragement and would like us to pray for you, here are some opportunities for you at Northview.

Partners in Prayer

If you or a friend need prayer, please come to the front of the Auditorium after any Sunday Celebration, where you will find members of our Prayer Team waiting to pray with you. It will only take a few minutes, but it could make all the difference in the world.

When you pray...

Praise

Praise God for who he is . . . for his love, compassion, patience, majesty, and strength. Praise God for what he has done . . . for salvation, loving relationships, and all the ways he's shown his lavish generosity.

Repent

Repent by confessing your sins to God, changing your actions, and claiming his forgiveness and promise of a new life.

Ask

Ask God to respond to your specific personal requests, which may be for physical, emotional, or spiritual needs. Also pray for family, friends, church workers, community leaders, and those who do not yet know Jesus in a personal way.

Yield

Yield to God's will through submission and obedience. Align your life with God's will and courageously following his lead.

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 (NIV),"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
